Every day, childcare centers are responsible for the safety of millions of children, yet most supervision, documentation, compliance monitoring, and incident detection still rely on manual observation and paper processes. Beacon combines computer vision, event intelligence, and AI to create a real-time awareness platform that helps childcare operators identify risk, improve supervision quality, document incidents, and maintain compliance. We are seeking a technical co-founder who wants to build a category-defining company from the ground floor. This is a company-building role. You will own technology strategy, architecture, product development, hiring, and long-term technical vision alongside the founder. About Beacon Beacon uses AI-powered computer vision to monitor childcare environments and surface critical safety insights including: * Child-to-staff ratio monitoring * Classroom supervision quality * Lost child detection * Exit and perimeter alerts * Playground safety monitoring * Incident detection and review * Compliance documentation * Operational intelligence for childcare leadership Our long-term vision is to become the intelligence layer for childcare operations, safety, and risk management.
