## About the Role

* Overall IT experience of 8 to 10 Years
 * 4-6+ years of experience as SDET to assess software quality through automated testing using Cucumber, Selenium, Java, MongoDB, SQL/No SQL
 * 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
 * 4+ years of experience in Banking, Credit Card processing, API testing, Data / ETL testing
 * 2+ years of experience in test automation using AI agents
 * Expert in BDD/TDD to collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, acceptance criteria and define test scenarios in Gherkin syntax
 * Experience in implementing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and working with test data
 * Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, evaluate product according to acceptance criteria, report bugs/errors to development teams, conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
 * Proficient in QA Methodology, Agile frameworks, functional testing and regression testing
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
 * Develop and execute automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and security of web applications
 * Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless execution and reporting
 * Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve them.
 * Ability to troubleshoot errors/gaps/defects, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
 * Provide detailed reports on test coverage, execution results, and defect status.
 * Continuously improve the test automation process and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the test automation codebase
 * Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and testing infrastructure

Good to have

 * Experience with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress).
 * Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools
