This role focuses on daily operations including monitoring and maintaining critical IT equipment to ensure reliable continuous operation in accordance with relevant performance specifications and service levels. The Data Center Operations Support Technician executes routine tasks without direct supervision and assists with complex tasks when required under the direction of a senior technician. Routine data center operations support duties include hardware and software installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, monitoring of critical IT infrastructure such as servers, computer networks, computer storage systems, and data cabling. The Data Center Operations Support Technician uses electronic service management tools to plan, execute, monitor, log, and report.
