## About the Role

Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in cash applications in a service industry with a practical knowledge of data processing and Excel.

 * Experience with Aderant, Expert Collection a plus., * An Associates degree is preferred.

## Description

* Responsible for the day-to-day accurate posting of cash receipts., * Verify and record all forms of payment (receipts) in Financial System.
 * Processes credit card payments/transactions through Pay-Trace/Credit Card Vendor.
 * Verifies all ACH and wire data to ensure accurate posting.
 * Contacts attorneys and clients on overpayments to determine proper handling.
 * Prepares necessary documentation to seek client refund per firm policy.
 * Manages all excess balances on the matter to ensure refunds or application to future billing is accomplished in a timely
 * manner.
 * Applies/unapplies payments as requested by attorney and/or billing department when corrections are needed.
 * Sends W-9 and Credit Card payment links to clients and/or attorneys upon request.
 * Completes vendor request forms/ACH forms. Creates new client profiles for E-Payables payment set-up.
 * Creates life-to-date AR history reports for clients and attorneys as requested.
 * Communicates client address changes with appropriate departments.
 * Understands deductions/discounts taken on invoice payments per E-Billing sites and processing write offs timely in
 * accordance with firm policy.
 * Processes write offs on balances as instructed by Attorney, Manager, or Billing Team per firm policy.
 * Ensures spreadsheets and documents are revised and updated as necessary.
 * Performs other duties as assigned.
