## About the Role

* 1.5+ years experience in an IT role (e.g. Operations, Production Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support)
 * 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler z/OS scheduling experience
 * 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler Distributed scheduling experience
 * Working knowledge in these technologies:
 * OS: UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Windows Server
 * Protocols: Telnet, SFTP, TCP/IP
 * MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 * Problem solving and decision-making skills
 * Careful attention to detail
 * Customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

 * Familiarity with IWS, JES, JCL, MVS-TSO, ISPF/XEDIT, CLIST, IBM Utilities
 * Familiarity with SAP application scheduling
 * Working knowledge: Vi and Unix Shell scripting
 * Familiarity with Tools/Apps:
 * Office 365
 * ServiceNow: change management, work request, and incident, Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

## Description

Creates and updates scheduling in IBM Workload Scheduler in the distributed and mainframe environments, per requested specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

 * IBM Workload Scheduling for Mainframe and Distributed Systems
 * Build permanent scheduling definitions, including: calendars, resources, variables, and events.
 * Mainframe ad hoc scheduling support
 * Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as second level support.
 * Participate in on-call rotations.
