You should be able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. **Requirements:** 12. Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware. 13. Strong interest in learning new DC concepts. 14. Strong verbal and written communication skills 15. Shift schedule (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts). Includes weekends and holidays. 16. 3+ years working in an IT environment. 17. Experience solving problems on servers, networking devices and IT equipment. 18. Inventory management experience. Ordering, receiving, and shipping server parts. 19. Experience taking on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events as needed. 20. Experience raising issues to Sr. onsite staff and management as needed. 21. IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB) 22. Knowledge of trunk infrastructure is a plus **Preferred Qualifications** 23. 2-year or 4-year degree or 3+ Years of experience ## Description 1. Install, Remove, address technical issues in hardware in data centers racks without disturbing other hardware and critical infrastructure on site. 2. Maintain asset inventory and update internal application as needed. 3. Be accessible via cell phone and willing to work on onsite emergency as needed. 4. Participate and complete training that aligns with corporate objectives to bridge skill gaps and learn new relevant technologies. 5. Act within Service Level Agreements (SLA) on the tickets assigned to you in your space.
