The most critical skills for this position are attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage short-term and long-term priorities., The employee must have a strong commitment to environmental protection and subscribe to representing ShoreRivers' mission and statement of inclusion.

Experience, skills & abilities

 * Hands-on experience in Raiser's Edge NXT Database View and WebView highly preferred, or experience in another customer relationship management tool;
 * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google product platforms;
 * Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills;
 * Must have excellent attention to detail;
 * Must possess strong communication skills and a welcoming presence;
 * Must be a team player willing to collaborate across departments;
 * Effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and meeting deadlines;
 * Ability to coordinate with various staff and volunteers as both a responsive and proactive collaborator when needed;
 * An understanding of environmental issues that affect water quality, and knowledge of ecology and ecosystem functions preferred; and
 * An associate or bachelor's degree is a plus, but we welcome applicants from traditional and non-traditional education pathways.

## Description

database (50%) - Utilize Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

 * Update our database with constituent and donation information;
 * Produce weekly gift acknowledgments and reports;
 * Assist in preparation of other requested reports and mailing lists for event invitations, newsletters, solicitations, departmental initiatives, etc.;
 * Assist with event preparation tasks in coordination with Development staff; and
 * Support the Membership Manager with administering and troubleshooting the database; strive to improve the functionality of the database to meet the needs of the organization and ensure useful, healthy, complete data.

development (25%) - Actively participate in the Development team

 * Cultivate constituent relationships to foster community partnerships and cross-departmental collaborations;
 * Understand and apply ShoreRivers' annual fundraising strategy; and
 * Contribute to departmental and organizational communications and outreach efforts by providing new perspectives and creative ideas.

administration (25%) - Represent the organization at the main office front desk

 * Greet and assist visitors, volunteers, and supporters;
 * Answer and route phone calls;
 * Receive and route incoming mail and deliveries; and
 * With the Officekeeper, coordinate organizational supplies.
