Do you have experience in Web services design?, * Hands-on experience building or prototyping AI-enabled applications, agents, or orchestration workflows using LLMs and modern AI frameworks

 * Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent as part of day-to-day development workflows as a practical force multiplier to teams

Backend & Platform Engineering

 * Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade enterprise applications with C#/.NET
 * Experience designing scalable backend services, extensible APIs, and reusable platform capabilities
 * Strong SQL Server expertise, including performance tuning, query optimization, concurrency, and troubleshooting at scale
 * Experience building distributed, high-volume systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
 * Practical experience with Azure and modern cloud development patterns

Engineering Mindset

 * Ability to communicate with clarity across all levels - from technical design discussions with engineers to translating platform strategy and tradeoffs for leadership
 * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across backend systems, distributed services, and platform infrastructure
 * Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD workflows, observability, structured logging, and operational reliability
 * Strong engineering judgment - balancing scalability, maintainability, platform evolution, and pragmatic delivery

* Contribute to AI-enabled orchestration and intelligent automation initiatives, leveraging AI as a force multiplier to evolve workflow capabilities and developer productivity across Dayforce
 * Design and build scalable backend services, extensible APIs, and orchestration capabilities
 * Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of high-volume workflow systems
 * Drive technical design, engineering standards, and operational excellence through modern development practices, observability, maintainability, and platform-focused architecture
 * Mentor teammates, contribute to technical leadership, and help raise the engineering bar across the team
