Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Component Engineer, DVT Release Support - **Company:** ENTEGEE, Inc. - **Location:** Irvine, CA, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $104,000.0 - $124,800.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Computer Engineering, Netsuite - **Published:** June 5, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=b733f41ba256ab08 ## About the Role Do you have experience in Product lifecycle management?, * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, with 5+ years of component engineering, hardware engineering, or related experience. * Experience supporting product development through DVT and design release phases in a regulated environment, with medical device experience strongly preferred. * Strong understanding of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components, including lifecycle status, supply risk, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturability constraints. * Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems such as Propel and NetSuite, plus design transfer, production ramp, and regulated documentation expectations such as ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820. ## Description * Participate in DVT readiness and design reviews to identify component risks, manufacturability concerns, tolerance issues, and documentation gaps. * Review OTS and custom part releases, drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA risks, then recommend alternates or mitigation strategies. * Serve as a bridge between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve build issues, long-lead risks, component data, sourcing, traceability, and audit readiness.
