Desireable Skills and Experience * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred. * Five + years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment,; aerospace/defense experience a plus. * 1-2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role. * Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and inspection techniques. * Proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) * Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality standards. * Familiarity with ERP and QMS software (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Net-Inspect) * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Introduction The Quality Inspector Lead provides day-to-day oversight of the quality inspection team and acts as the primary link between Quality Control and Assembly. This role supports accurate and consistent inspections, leads complex or judgement-based evaluations, and play s a proactive role in reducing defects and rework.
