## About the Role

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for degree

Experience:

 * 5+ years experience in hospital/clinic healthcare setting with experience supporting an EHR, related applications, and integrated workflows. This same experience with an EHR vendor is also acceptable.
 * Experience with software application tools used for application build and data manipulation.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

 * Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications
 * Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and various other hospital staff.
 * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and management.
 * Knowledge of analytical processes and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities.
 * Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements to high-level system specifications.
 * Familiarity in the use of Microsoft Window products (Word, Excel, Access and Project) or equivalent.
 * Aptitude for learning new software tools and products.
 * Familiarity with the software development cycle.

## Description

Participates in the development (design, build, test) and support of Children's applications systems. Implements cost effective solutions. Facilitates the development of a proposed solution to business- sponsored initiatives.
License/Certification/Registration

 * Must have orders and order transmittal Epic certification.-REQUIRED Relevant certification must be maintained ongoing.
