SECURITY CLEARANCE: This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required ## Description Peraton is seeking an experienced senior Storage Database Lead Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions., * Implement and optimize the computerized database systems that support the customer infrastructure. * Implement and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases. * Conduct performance tuning of indexes and databases. * Review database design and integration of systems, provide backup recovery and make recommendation regarding enhancements and/or improvements. * Maintain security and integrity controls. * Formulate policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.
