For information regarding pre-screening and driving positions, The minimum qualifications listed above, plus: * Proven track record of effectively utilizing Police Records Management Systems (RMS) or analogous software programs. * Demonstrated expertise in delivering training sessions in both classroom and field environments, ensuring comprehensive understanding and skill development among participants. * Experience: + In navigating and utilizing law enforcement computer systems. + Processing, maintaining, and auditing confidential documentation with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to security protocols. + Working in law enforcement, the criminal justice field or similar environment. + As a supervisor. + Working shift work. ## Description The Police Department is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Police Automated System Secretary Lead to serve in a supervisory role within the Strategic Information Bureau. As a lead, responsibilities include training Police Automated System- CARs Detail personnel, overseeing daily workload, creating schedules, conducting monthly process audits and meetings, documenting employee performance, providing backup support as needed, addressing complex inquiries, and supervising Automated System Secretaries in the CARs Unit. This position reports directly to an Information Services Supervisor and is crucial for maintaining data accuracy in the Records Management System while managing a high volume of requests. Collaboration with sworn personnel and other law enforcement agencies is integral. Additional duties involve overseeing the Teletype operation as well as providing assistance to our RMS Help Desk phone line associated with our Records Management System.
