This role serves as the lead in recommending and implementing technology and process standards within the Business Analytics environment. Hands on role will also be a lead support and development resource for new and existing BA solutions across a diverse set of individual SPX Business Units. Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the BA ecosystem and participate in the planning and migration of new and legacy BA systems and infrastructure. Work with business groups and technical teams to develop value added applications. Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability. Develop scalable and maintainable BA applications to meet business objectives. Develop security and authentication standards for the BA environment. Maintain accurate and complete technical architectural documents. Define BA standards, guidelines and best practices for business groups and technical teams. Translate business needs to technical specifications. Design, build and deploy business solutions (e.g. Qlik Sense Applications). Maintain and support Qlik Sense data analytics platform.
