## About the Role

* Design degree or similar experience.
 * Desire for learning, exploration and innovation.
 * 7 years' experience in Autodesk Alias Surface for automotive OEM..
 * Experience with any of the following is a plus: Dynamo, Grasshopper, VRED, Blender, and Python
 * Understanding the Design fundamentals of Proportions, Surface, Theme, Graphics and Packaging.
 * English language required for Multicultural Team Environment.
 * Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai and KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 * Quickly build and iterate Design concepts using Autodesk Alias Surface, both in NURBS and Sub-D.
 * Understand Typical Sections and material separation for vehicle manufacture.
 * Efficiently manage inputs including sketches, designer models, scans, package data, and verbal direction.
 * Work harmoniously with fellow CAS modelers, Designers, Engineers, Fabricators, Clay Modelers and CMF Designers.
 * Prepare digital models for 3D Printing and CNC Milling.
 * Participate in Design reviews offering critique and reacting to feedback with creative solutions.
 * Flexibly optimize deliverables to changing project constraints.
 * Open willingness to support on anything to meet our goals.
 * Maintain clean and safe work environment.
 + Travel up to 20% of time domestically and/or internationally.
