This hands-on role manages the IT help desk and ensures system uptime, end-user support, and the implementation of IT best practices across office and production environments., · Manage IT help desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and strong customer service · Install and configure operating systems, software releases, and system upgrades · Evaluate and apply patches and fixes; resolve software-related issues · Support end-user needs including troubleshooting, account maintenance, and training · Monitor and analyze system performance, including network and disk utilization · Configure fault-tolerant systems and proactive monitoring to maximize uptime · Perform IT inventory assessments, documentation, and procedural updates · Conduct hardware and software evaluations to support business goals · Participate in team initiatives to automate tasks and streamline IT processes · Install and terminate cabling and fiber as needed for IT infrastructure · Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and management · Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions · Perform additional tasks as assigned by the I.T.
