## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Structural inspections for transportation structures?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering?, * B.S. degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.

 * 2-8 years of waterfront engineering and inspection experience.
 * EIT or PE registration.
 * Commercial diving certification (ADCI or equivalent).
 * Practical experience with civil engineering software (AutoCAD)
 * The ability to learn quickly, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
 * Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, as required.
 * Valid driver's license.

Additional Qualities

 * MS degree with strong Structural, Geotechnical, or Coastal Engineering degree focus.
 * Familiarity with structural analysis software such as STAAD.
 * Experience with topographic or hydrographic surveys.
 * Completed NHI Bridge Inspector Course.
 * Possession of a Boating Safety Certificate.

This role requires a willingness to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting equipment, working outdoors, and accessing challenging structures., * Bachelor's (Required)

 * waterfront engineering and inspection: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

 * Commercial Dive License (ADCI or equivalent) (Required)
 * Boating Safety Certificate (Preferred)
 * NHI Bridge Inspector Course (Preferred)
 * E.I.T or P.E. License (Preferred)

## Description

You will work on a wide variety of waterfront projects, including design, surveying, underwater inspections, and regulatory services.

Fieldwork will involve both topside and underwater activities, including inspections, destructive and non-destructive testing, topographic and hydrographic surveying, and construction oversight.

Office-based responsibilities will include structural analysis and design, preparation of drawings and specifications, quantity and cost estimating, and the preparation of engineering assessment reports.
