This role demands a keen understanding of IADS architecture and the ability to interpret, analyze, and produce written assessments on algorithms governing critical functions. This includes, but is not limited to, dissecting multitarget track-to-fusion algorithms like Global Nearest Neighbor (GNN), evaluating threat evaluation algorithms employing methods like adaptive weighting or TOPSIS, and deciphering weapons pairing methodologies. Given the complexity of these tasks, a background in engineering or mathematics is highly desirable.
