Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge with Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Management, Identity Management * Knowledge of the AZURE ecosystem * Knowledge of Zero Trust principles ## Description This position will be part of a team responsible for supporting the technical infrastructure that includes hardware, software, and cloud service provider components. This role will serve as a pivotal resource, driving implementation, and design services for other areas of the organization and its customers. Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities) * Map the relationship between IT platform/Infrastructure components (i.e. Technology End Users, IT System Software & Hardware and info-Communications Transmission Networks). * Identify key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms. * Investigate and analyze problems to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution. * Design and implement system monitoring and performance optimization solution. * Design, implement, and maintain backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability. * Design documentation configuration baselining of systems, testing or modification of IT infrastructure. * Evaluate new solutions through research and collaboration and determine course of action for new technical initiatives. * Responsible for incident escalation and coordination of resources to resolve issues in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreement metrics. * Support Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP) exercises, testing and live incidents per procedures and policies. * Maintain security and integrity controls. * Prepare written technical documentation, training material, standards, and reports. * Evaluate and recommend procurements of Windows or Appliance based hardware and software. * Evaluate total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives. * Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned., Due to our status as a federal contractor operating within the State of Washington, all applicants and employees must adhere to federal law, which classifies cannabis as a Schedule I controlled substance. To obtain this credential, new employees must successfully complete and pass a federal background check investigation. This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year.
