We'd love to hear about it. * You're comfortable across the full stack - from CMS platforms like Sanity or Contentful to APIs, backend services, and analytics integrations. * You care about reliability and observability - you write tests, set up monitoring, and don't consider something truly shipped until you're confident it won't fall over in production. * You own your work end-to-end - from scoping and building to deployment and smoke testing in production. Done means done. * You've worked closely with non-engineering teams before - marketers, designers, stakeholders - and you know how to translate between creative vision and technical reality. * You embrace AI-assisted tools like Claude Code - and you know when to trust them and when to push back., * You have a DIY mindset and genuine obsession with code quality, user experience, and craft - always asking how things could be better, and doing something about it. * You thrive in a high-agency environment where you're trusted to move fast, make calls, and raise the bar on how the team works - not just what it ships. * You've worked directly with stakeholders - leadership, marketing, design - and understand that your job isn't just to write code, but to unblock people and move the needle on outcomes that matter., * Have experience with international localization architecture (e.g. Lokalise or Crowdin) - big plus given where we're headed. * Have implemented privacy compliance (e.g. GDPR) and managed cookie consent flows. * Have maintained software libraries or written technical documentation others actually want to read. * Love staying active and believe in what we're building ## Description Join a small, ambitious team where your work shapes how customers first discover and fall in love with our product. You're a proactive builder and problem solver who doesn't wait to be told what to fix; you spot opportunities, propose solutions, and ship them. No two days look the same: some days you're in the creative weeds with Design, obsessing over the details of a web experience; others you're the one unblocking a whole team by shipping something they didn't even know was possible., * Own the full marketing site stack - from frontend and CMS to backend services, analytics, and deployment. You're not just a contributor here; this is yours to build and evolve. * Lead development on customer-facing products and commerce tools, working closely with our Customer Experience and Product Design teams to deliver experiences that convert and delight. * Partner with Design, Marketing, and Publishing to ship content experiences that drive customer acquisition - and run experiments that turn data into smarter decisions. * Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and external services that keep our internal teams productive and our stack humming. * Obsess over performance and user experience - from Core Web Vitals to CMS workflows - so that every interaction feels fast, polished, and intentional. * Develop and maintain our Web Design System and component libraries, keeping the foundation consistent and scalable as the product and team grow. ## Related Videos - [But, you're not Facebook](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/378-but-you-re-not-facebook) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [GraphQL + Apollo + Next.js: A Lovely Trio](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/311-graphql-apollo-next-js-a-lovely-trio) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Create a Programmatic SEO Project Using Next.js and Static Site Generation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/449-create-a-programmatic-seo-project-using-next-js-and-static-site-generation) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 133 - Back to Front](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/474-dev-digest-133-back-to-front) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers)
