A Software License Analyst is responsible for managing software license compliance, optimization, and data integrity using the ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) application. This role ensures accurate license positions, supports audit readiness, and drives cost savings by leveraging ServiceNow best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities. The analyst works closely with IT Asset Management (ITAM), procurement, and technical teams to maintain high-quality asset data and enable effective license management across the enterprise. This role supports the agency's mission by leveraging advanced ITAM processes to ensure accurate asset tracking, operational transparency, and regulatory adherence. This individual specializes in publisher-specific toolsets, drives license optimization through tailored workflows, and contributes to enterprise ITAM operations to ensure regulatory compliance success at CMS.
