## About the Role

* BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.

 * Over 5 years of software development experience.

 * Proficiency in bash and Python scripting within Linux environments.

 * Experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code, with professional use of at least one major cloud provider (preferably GCP).

 * Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.

 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

## Description

The Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition role is focused on managing and advancing data collection processes that support AI model training. This position is pivotal in sourcing, ingesting, and scaling high-quality audio datasets efficiently. The role collaborates with AI scientists and leadership to enhance data infrastructure and drive the development of datasets that power next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

 3. Responsibilities:

 * Identify and incorporate new audio data sources into the ingestion pipeline.

 * Operate and enhance cloud infrastructure for data ingestion using GCP and Terraform.

 * Collaborate with AI scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and data quality.

 * Partner with AI team members and leadership to define the dataset development roadmap.
