+ 3+years' experience deploying and supporting servers in a 24/7 production datacenter environment.

 + Stronganalytical skills.

 + Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.

 + Capableof working with minimal supervision.

 + Priorexperience in the installation of standard cabling technologies and rackinfrastructure including but not limited to seismic bracing, infrastructureaesthetics, and effective trouble shooting.

 + Unix/Linuxskills (preferred).

 + Understandingof cabling and telecommunications standards including IEEE/ANSI/TIA/EIA(strongly preferred).

## Description

The IT Service Technician plays a critical role inensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of data center environments. Thisposition is responsible for executing on-site build projects, supportingdeployments, and handling live production requests. The technician ensures thathardware installations, cabinet setups, and decommissions are performedefficiently and according to standard

What You'll do:

 + Technician is responsible for on-siteperformance of all build projects.

 + Beingon-site during normal businesshours.

 + Supportingboth new deployment or new builds, and live site/production requests.

 + Supportingcabinet installation and decommission as needed.

 + Supportingother operational activities approved by Tesla.

 + Managingincoming/outgoing shipments.

 + Maintainingdata center cleanliness and organization.

 + Installinghardware in production and staging environments.

 + Maintaininginventory systems, providing timely updates on inventory levels, and performingquarterly cycle counts.

 + Managingsite growth by keeping the data center organized.
