Candidates with non-technical degrees may be considered with the completion of the relevant technical certification programs. * One year of development experience (note: experience can be gained as a combination of academic coursework, internships and/or direct work experience). * With no degree, 3 years of experience as listed above. * Knowledge of at least one development language/technology (e.g. Python, PHP, JAVA, PEGA, Ab Initio, Angula.js, Node.js, Java or any languages such as C, C++ or any other open-source tools). * Must be able to understand and translate the business requirements into technical specifications and also help with testing the applications. * Must be able to support the developed applications in Production through the warranty period of the application. * Ability to self-learn, adapt and learn new tools and technologies including open source technologies. Hiring Preferences * Experience with a major relational database management system preferred (i.e. DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
