You'll work across 3 services spanning TypeScript/React, Python backends, and ML/CV inference, all running on Google Cloud and Modal. Comfort moving between product code and ML infrastructure is essential. * Physician web portal: Next.js / React app where clinicians place orders, view slides, and read reports. * Order service: the system of record such as orders, patients, clinical data, insurance billing claims, report (PDF) generation, and a web of third-party integrations. * Slide tiles service: generates and serves DeepZoom pyramids from gigapixel pathology slides., * Product-obsessed builder: You're never satisfied with "good enough"-you relentlessly spot opportunities to improve the product and move fast to ship them, knowing that done and iterating beats perfect and waiting. * AI-native: You're comfortable using latest AI tools (e.g., Cursor/Windsurf) to quickly build, refine, and document your code. * Sense of style: You appreciate polished, professional UIs, enjoy collaborating closely with designers, and understand that great UX is integral to great products. * Creative thinker: You thrive in environments requiring innovation and aren't limited by past experience. * Self-directed leader: You take ownership, set your own agenda, and move with urgency.
