Pursues solutions to systemic issues., * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * nonprofit fundraising: 3 years (Preferred) Language: * Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Austin, TX 78751 ## Description SUMMARY: Austin Child Guidance Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Development Manager (DM) to join our team. The DM will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by supporting fundraising efforts, donor relationships, and data management. This position offers an opportunity for someone with a strong interest in nonprofit development to make a meaningful impact on our organization's growth and sustainability. The DM is responsible for managing donor data entry, data analysis and forecasting, donor acknowledgments and processes, managing mid-tier donor portfolios, conducting corporate prospecting research, supporting events and donor appeals., General: * Uphold the AFP Code of Ethical Standards. * Adhere to agency policies and procedures. * Collaborate with the Senior Director of Development to devise ACGC's development plan and implement strategies to meet and surpass established revenue objectives. Donor Database: * Oversee donor database accuracy, reporting, and development processes in partnership with the Senior Director of Development, Senior Director of Grants, and the finance team. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and prospect records in the donor database. * Generate donor reports and queries as needed for fundraising activities, board, and committee reporting. * Ensure compliance with data privacy and donor confidentiality standards. * Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize future efforts. Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: * Manage appeal letters, thank you letters, and agency information correspondence to donors and supporters. * Research and solicit corporate opportunities that align with our mission and goals. * Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects, ensuring consistent outreach, personalized stewardship, and timely follow-up. * Conduct regular donor meetings and communications to share mission impact and secure renewed and increased gifts. * Build relationships by attending community events, speaking engagements, donor prospect meetings and host tours of the Center. Special Events and Appeals: * Collaborate with the development team to plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns, events, and procedures. * Provide support for events and appeals, including recognition, acknowledgments, logistics, event planning, and other necessary tasks., * Manage the Development Specialist (currently vacant), work-study students, and/or Development Interns., * Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. * Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans. * Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
