Must have CompTIA Security+ CE ### Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/G.E.D. ### Education Or Experience Substitution 3 or more years of experience with designing, building and managing databases. ### Training Required/Provided CompTIA Security+, Ability to translate customer requirements into database structure Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Familiarity with using front-end scripting languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to customize solution front-end is a plus Required Qualifications Must have CompTIA Security+ CE Must have a minimum of 3 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing databases Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with SharePoint site management, site content management, permissions management, and workflow design and implementation Experience building and maintaining Content Management Platforms Experience with creating and formulating workflows Must have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher Preferred Qualifications Oracle or SQL Server certification ## Description The Database Administrator will build, support, administer, and sustain a clustered-server database platform hosted in an enterprise IT environment. In this role, the Database Administrator will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other service interruptions. In addition, the Database Administrator will investigate hardware and software problems related to the database-hosting infrastructure and perform corrective actions. Major Activities Architect, design, engineer, and document database servers and associated infrastructure in clustered, stand-alone, and/or appliance-hosted configurations, which fulfill mission requirements, service specifications, and cyber security mandates Perform all Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) hardening and configurations for all STIGs that apply to the system hosting the Database. Lead STIG assessments to ensure the system is hardened to the required level.
