## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
 * Minimum 5-8 years of experience in systems administration within enterprise environments.
 * Experience supporting multi-user systems in Windows and/or Linux server environments.
 * Experience operating within DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
 * One of the following DoD 8570/ SP-SYS-002 c ertifications, * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
 * Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds.

The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

## Description

The Systems Administrator, Installation is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

 * Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
 * Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
 * Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
 * Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
 * Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
 * Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
 * May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff., + Microsoft Windows Server certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate)
 + Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
 + Linux+ (CompTIA)
