Proven experience managing initiatives that require after-hours change windows, structured change governance, and measurable operational outcomes. Strong command of metrics, reporting, and executive-level communication. Working knowledge of vulnerability management concepts, including coordinating remediation activities and validating closure. PMI PMP certification (nice to have but not required if experience is strong). Prior healthcare IT experience in regulated or compliance-focused environments. Experience supporting security-adjacent or infrastructure-heavy programs. Familiarity with ITIL or service management concepts. Ability to work hybrid or be located near Greensboro, NC (preferred, not required). ## Description A client is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and governance for infrastructure-focused programs, with a strong emphasis on vulnerability remediation, patching, and hardening. This individual will partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Service Management teams to ensure remediation work is delivered on schedule, within approved change windows, and with executive-ready reporting. This role is intended to convert long-term and is not a temporary position. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead planning and execution of infrastructure remediation programs, including vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening initiatives. Build and manage integrated project plans and rolling schedules across infrastructure towers (server, network, endpoint, security). Run execution governance, including readiness reviews, weekly stakeholder meetings, change scheduling, and post-implementation reviews. Maintain project risk, action, issue, and decision logs, driving timely escalation and resolution. Coordinate dependencies across Security, Service Desk, Service Management, application teams, and infrastructure owners. Translate vulnerability management findings into actionable remediation plans and validate closure through reporting and evidence. Deliver executive-level status reporting, including remediation progress, vulnerability aging, compliance trends, and SLA performance. Ensure documentation quality for runbooks, implementation plans, audit artifacts, and compliance evidence. Support resource planning and surge coordination during high-severity vulnerability or remediation events, including after-hours change windows.
