## About the Role

* Proficiency in .NET (C#), TypeScript, Angular or React
 * Experience with containerization, CI/CD tools, and Python is beneficial
 * Familiarity with software design principles and methodologies
 * Understanding of service-to-service communication principles
 * Strong system design skills with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a complex environment
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with team members & stakeholders
 * Experience developing applications for cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure)
 * Experience working with relational databases such as MSSQL/PostgreSQL and a strong command of SQL
 * Experience in a Buy Side Financial Firm is a plus
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

## Description

* Support the application development needs for trading, operations, risk management, finance, and data analytics;
 * Build applications that enhance our operations and advance the usage of our MSSQL/PostgreSQL Data Warehouse;
 * Integrate 3rd party applications and data sources using modern middleware technologies such as REST APIs, gRPC, or Kafka;
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions;
 * Partner with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to cybersecurity best practices; and
 * Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the data engineering space and integrate them into the platform where applicable.
