## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and supporting trading systems. The person in this role will work with internal teams and must have a goal-oriented attitude and a structured methodical approach to project and assignments. A working knowledge of the fixed income market is preferred., * Experience supporting an existing large system to very high levels of availability, ideally financial and/or trading systems

 * Working on existing internal systems
 * The team works very closely, and it is a high-pressure mission critical production environment.
 * Strong communication skills
 * In this role you will be required to be flexible regarding work schedule, including occasional weekend duties.
 * 3 or more years of object-oriented development experience (ideally C++)
 * Relational Database experience
 * Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred)
 * 3-5 years' work experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
 * Proven ability to problem solves and multi-task

## Description

* Work as part of a global support team
 * Develop system instrumentation, monitoring and reporting tools
 * Work with internal businesses to identify and resolve issues
 * The provision of extremely high levels of availability for the production, demonstration and test systems
 * Resolve of any problems in these systems in a timely and professional manner
 * Proactively learn and understand business needs and develop or implement solutions
