Involve in Requirement gathering, Scope, GAP analysis, Technical Design and coding.
Recommends solution approach based on the process design agreed.
Perform backup, Storage, and work with various infrastructure teams (OS, Datacenter team,Developer, Testing).
Will be recommending different RAID groups and allocate storage groups for betterperformance.
Defining and achieving the strategy roadmap for infrastructure / data design - Setting vision, gathering quality Information, creating policies, procedures, mentoring business and development resources, delivering solutions, training, and documentation.
Evaluate infrastructure requirements such as EMC Storage VNX & VMAX, HP DL380s 7 DL580s Hardware, IBM backup solution TS4500 tape library, IBM Blade servers, multiple databases (Db2 9.7, Oracle 11G, SQL Server 2012),OS AIX & Unix, Linux, HP unix, Windows , middleware process, data mining, data cleansing and Cognos reporting.
Work on programs for scheduling Data loading and transformations from different data sourcesto Oracle 9i using SQL* Loader and PL/SQL.
Executes Pre-and Post-session commands on Source and Target database using Shell scripting.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
