## About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a lean, evolving team where this role represents an expansion into deeper systems + networking capability. The environment is highly dynamic, with active infrastructure redesign efforts underway, particularly across networking. The ideal candidate is a mid-level engineer who is strong in Linux systems, has exposure to networking, and wants to deepen their skillset in a trading or low-latency environment. This is not a purely cloud or DevOps role, it's built for someone who enjoys working directly with servers, switches, and system-level optimization. Required Skills & Experience

 * Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration (production environments)
 * Experience working with on-prem / bare metal infrastructure (not cloud-only)
 * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, troubleshooting)
 * Experience operating in data center environments or with physical hardware
 * Ability to troubleshoot both system and network layers
 * Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience in trading, financial services, or low-latency environments (strongly preferred)
 * Exposure to Linux kernel-level tuning or system optimization
 * Hands-on work with switches, routers, firewalls, or VPNs
 * Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools
 * Familiarity with multi-data center infrastructure
