## About the Role

Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Word embeddings?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in engineering?, * Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline

 * Strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics fundamentals
 * Excellent technical writing and communication skills
 * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
 * Preferred Qualifications:
 * Master's degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline
 * Experience developing engineering designs and drawings, including P&IDs
 * Experience within the nuclear energy industry
 * Familiarity with engineering tools such as SmartPlant P&ID, MathCad, AutoCAD, Pipe-Flo, ELM, DOORS-NG, and HTRI
 * EIT certification

## Description

* Design and develop components and systems for the SMR-300 small modular reactor
 * Support system integration activities, including requirements development and component specification
 * Perform engineering calculations related to system design, including heat transfer and fluid dynamics
 * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering disciplines and licensing teams
 * Interface with manufacturers to support design development and technical execution
 * Contribute to the creation and review of engineering documentation and technical reports
 * Support development of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and related system drawings
 * Assist in solving complex engineering problems with practical, feasible design solutions
 * Participate in execution of U.S. Government cost-shared development programs
