 * 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in an architect or principal engineer role
 * Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and API design
 * Proven ability to define and communicate architectural decisions at an organizational level
 * Experience working in environments with hardware-software integration (IoT or embedded systems) a strong plus
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

## Description

As Software Architect, you will define and evolve the technical architecture of Vale's software platform, ensuring it can scale with the business and support the team's velocity.

 * Define and communicate Vale's overall software architecture, standards, and technical roadmap
 * Partner with Engineering Managers and senior engineers on system design decisions
 * Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical challenges
 * Drive adoption of best practices in areas such as reliability, security, and developer experience
 * Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools
 * Serve as a technical mentor to engineers across the team
 * Collaborate with Product and Data teams to ensure architecture supports business needs
