## About the Role

* Ability to Obtain Security Clearance.
 * Three (3) years of experience working to MIL-STD-11991 requirements.
 * Experience developing non-standard part approval requests (NSPARs) to DoD organizations.
 * Experience interpreting manufacturer datasheets, source control drawings, and Bill of Materials.
 * Strong understanding of active and passive electronic piece parts.
 * Experience with obsolescence management including monitoring BOMs, solving issues, scheduling fixes, and finding new sources.
 * Experience with quality engineering reviews of design documentation.
 * Experience applying statistical process control (SPC) methods.
 * Willingness to accept wide variety of work assignments supporting end-to-end process of electronic systems.
 * Experience working with design engineers, vendors, and enforcing PMPCP compliance., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.

## Description

* Review designs of aerospace hardware for compliance with military specifications such as MIL-STD-11991.
 * Review electrical and electronic equipment designs including piece parts, circuit card assemblies, wires and harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies.
 * Develop non-standard part approval requests (NSPARs) for Department of Defense organizations.
 * Interpret manufacturer datasheets, source control drawings, and Bill of Materials.
 * Apply understanding of active and passive electronic piece parts including device manufacture and operation.
 * Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
 * Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data and evaluate component acceptability.
 * Perform detailed part level obsolescence management including monitoring BOMs, solving issues, scheduling implementation of fixes, and finding new sources.
 * Work with design engineers, interface with other functional areas and vendors, and enforce PMPCP compliance.
