This position is responsible for developing project goals, identifying resources, applying change management strategies, and driving the team to meet timelines for project completion., * Provide leadership and direction to project team members throughout the project life cycle, ensuring deliverables are met per cost, schedule, and scope commitments. * Proactively handle escalations as necessary to ensure project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives. * Manage communication with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and assist in identifying opportunities for business process improvements within project scope. * Manage the project team with realistic resource plan for requirement, design or configuration, testing, change management, training, and handover to product support. * Monitor the project schedule, budget, scope, risks, decisions, issues, and changes while maintaining project documentation and team sites. * Proactively assess risks and issues and determine appropriate mitigation plans, escalating as necessary and then executing and following up. * Continuously improve project management tools and methodologies and provide expertise and guidance for indirectly managed projects. * Review new project intake requests and support the Director of Strategic Initiaitves as required, to assess and prioritize the project against the backlog. * Direct Business Analyst in assigned tasks and foster relationship between Business Analysts and Quality Assurance to reduce requirements ambiguity and inaccurate assumptions during testing. * Develop or direct others in the development of training plans and materials. * Partner with project leadership to understand individual business change management needs including key stakeholders; scope and impact of changes; and potential implementation risks and barriers. * Develop change deliverables, including (but not limited to) change management plan, change impact analysis, stakeholder analysis, communication plan, and sustainability plan. ## Related Videos - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [Microservices?
