REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of the principles and practices of systems analysis and design, including software development and documentation. * Knowledge of the principles and practices of business and public administration. * Knowledge of current computer technology. * Ability to plan and develop time and cost estimates for project activities. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization. DESIRABLE * Experience with relational database management systems. * Experience supporting one of the following areas of focus: * Human Resource Environment * Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Environment * Financials Environment * Public Safety Environment * General Portfolio Environment * Parking System Environment * Airside Services Environment SPECIAL REQUIREMENT * Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et. Al. and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal. * For Public Safety Systems: Current Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) certification or the ability to obtain certification within thirty (30) days. * Department may specify programming languages and specific experience required to meet its technological requirements. ## Description Under general direction of the Sr IT Application Systems Manager in the area of focus, assists in the management and maintenance of application-level software. Implements and maintains automated and manual systems including specifying, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting system applications. Uses broad working knowledge of data processing to facilitate the definition of solutions to meet business requirements.
