## About the Role

Do you have experience in IT department experience?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate Degree in IT or related field or higher

 * At least 2 years of experience in the Information Technology field
 * Industry certifications that demonstrate proficiency with Enterprise I.T. Infrastructure such as Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.
 * Certifications relevant to the items in Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics are preferred.
 * ITIL Foundation certification is required (or should be obtained within 9 months of appointment)., * Proficient with Computer and Server Operating Systems in a virtual machine environment
 * Proficient with the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of virtual computer systems
 * Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
 * Extensive knowledge and experience with Active Directory
 * Extensive knowledge and experience with storage, virtual machines or Cisco UCS equipment
 * Monitoring, working tickets in the ticketing system and seeing them through to completion
 * 'How to' documentation of Infrastructure procedures
 * Handling emergent issues as they arise
 * Server setup, deployment and maintenance
 * Windows workstation and server patching
 * Office 365 administration and maintenance
 * Storage Administration
 * VMWare Administration
 * Citrix Server Administration
 * Backup and Data Retention activities Assisting vendors and other 3rd parties with implementation of any professional service installations

## Description

* Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
 * Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
 * Collecting and analyzing data to forecast infrastructure system needs before issues arise
 * Identifying issues and implementing plans for remediation before the issues negatively impact the business.
 * Performing Active Directory Administration tasks
 * Performing Software Updates (Windows and other 3rd party software)
 * Installing and configuring software and hardware on physical and virtual systems
 * The ability to read and write instructions, see, hear, operate a computer, comprehend, and then carry out directives when instructed
 * Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position
 * The ability to work on-site
 * Predictable, reliable, and prompt attendance
