The ideal candidate is proficient in component-driven architecture, GraphQL client integration, state management, and front-end DevOps practices., * 5+ years of professional experience in front-end software development. * Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React. * Experience with GraphQL clients (Apollo Client or equivalent) and consuming API schemas. * Solid understanding of component architecture, state management patterns, and modern React paradigms. * Familiarity with AWS-hosted front-end infrastructure (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows. * Able to perform root cause analysis on issues within the application. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams. Preferred Knowledge (Nice-to-Have): * Familiarity with AWS CDK or IaC for front-end infrastructure configuration. * Performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies). * Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / 508 compliance). * FedRAMP or other certification knowledge., * Someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of features from design to deployment. * A developer who enjoys solving complex UI/UX challenges in a cloud-first environment. * A collaborative team member who values quality, reliability, and maintainable code. * A team member that reflects our foundational behaviors: Client service, flexibility, respect, stewardship, commitment, initiative, innovation, and teamwork. ## Description * Design, develop, and maintain React applications using TypeScript, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability. * Build efficient GraphQL operations. * Develop reusable, well-tested UI components and maintain a consistent design system. * Deploy releases and hotfixes to production environments. * Debug issues in production or development environments. * Write unit/integration tests as part of each feature/bug fix. * Collaborate cross-functionally with back-end engineers and product stakeholders to deliver robust and maintainable systems. * Apply front-end best practices for performance, accessibility, security, and code quality. * Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering standards, and support continuous improvement across the team., Applicants may need to be the subject of a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, to include U.S. Citizenship. Compensation: Base Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 Final compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications. In-Person Interview: Our hiring process requires one in-person meeting, typically the final interview. Travel and accommodations will be provided. Remote Work: Though predominantly remote, infrequent office visits will be required, typically quarterly. All travel costs for these visits will be covered by Unison.
