## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience (5+ years)
 * 5+ years of experience in performance testing applications and/or systems
 * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent writing, speaking and interpersonal skills
 * Experience in the following environments: Linux, AIX, and Windows
 * Experience with the following performance testing tools: JMeter and LoadRunner
 * Experience analyzing technical and design documentation to develop test cases and test data using industry-standard tools

Qualifications Desired:

 * Experience using ALM, JIRA, UFT and Selenium
 * In-depth knowledge and experience performance testing Transactional, Message-based and Web-based applications
 * Experience with object-oriented programming languages
 * Experience with relational databases, * Create and manage performance test plans and test scripts using industry best practices and standards
 * Ability to quickly come up to speed on application architecture and assess performance characteristics of the application with the support of application development, architecture, external vendors, and systems support groups
 * Ability to automate performance testing for use in a DevOps architecture
 * Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and document defects and their respective resolutions
 * Assist in developing timeline estimates for completing test cycles within a project plan
 * Ability to communicate effectively and accurately progress and status of testing efforts
 * Conform to department standards to comply with audit and regulatory policies
 * Conform to department documentation standards, such as using UFT or Selenium when possible to document the scripts and test results
 * Validate the installation and back-out procedures related to the application under test
 * Perform regular performance tests to ensure the applications and systems can meet or exceed SLA criteria for uptime, accuracy, resiliency, and throughput
 * Assist team members through cross-training on applications and systems
