We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Lakeland team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer systems and networks and will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service!, * Education: HS Diploma / GED; Some College Preferred

 * Experience: 2 years in Desktop / Helpdesk Support
 * Certifications: A+ Certification; Network+ (required)
 * Skills: High attention to detail, excellent communication and organization skills, customer service oriented, * customer service: 2 years (Required)
 * IT Support Tech/Help Desk: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

 * A+ Certification; Network+ (required) (Required)

## Description

* Support, configure, maintain, and operate computer workstations, voice communication, and peripheral equipment.
 * Support routers, firewalls, servers, switches, PCs, and wireless access points.
 * Answer inbound communications from customers regarding issues with applications, printers, computers, peripherals, and networking hardware.
 * Guide callers through troubleshooting common IT concerns and resolutions.
 * Perform remote support for upgrades or issue resolutions.
 * Conduct inventory duties for hardware and software items.
 * Create quality documentation for significant activities, including required reports and how-to documents.
 * Stay up to date on all technology supported by Boring.
 * Instruct users in the proper utilization of software applications and hardware.
 * Create and terminate user access accounts for appropriate IT systems.
 * Track time and document progress through the ticketing system.
 * Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
