## About the Role

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Ability to learn, IT is a constantly changing landscape and to be successful in this position requires you to always be moving your skills forward

 * Ability to translate technical concepts into easily digestible instructions for non-technical staff
 * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
 * Ability to diagnose a problem by working with end user to better understand the problem and to come to a root cause and solution
 * Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, responding quickly and executing rapidly as both an individual and within the team
 * Experience supporting Windows Desktop
 * Experience supporting Active Directory
 * Experience supporting Azure/Office 365
 * Experience with remote support tools
 * Basic Understanding of Networking and Server EnvironmentsMinimum 1-year Help Desk experience, Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for positions that require participation in the company's fleet program. This is a requirement for roles involving the operation of company vehicles.

We have a full-time opening in Northbrook, Illinois for an IT Help Desk Technician to provide exceptional first level IT service and support for our employees.

What You'll Do:

 * Serve as the first point of contact and triage inbound technical calls and emails, maintaining ownership until resolution is found
 * Diagnose hardware, software, printing and network connectivity issues and resolve as appropriate
 * Install, configure and maintain end user hardware, software and peripherals
 * Provide consistently high quality, professional and solution-oriented service approach with end users
 * Physical setup of workstations, troubleshoot multimedia conference room setups, and install additional IT equipment
 * Occasional travel to satellite offices for in-person support and installation
 * Assist with documentation of Help Desk processes
 * Work closely with IT Support Lead, IT Manager, and the rest of the team for troubleshooting supportContribute to internal facing IT projects
