The IT Systems Administrator will: Support the operation, reliability, and security of the agency's middleware and system integration platforms that enable communication and data exchange between enterprise applications; Ensure critical systems can securely exchange data and maintain high availability to support business operations; Manage middleware infrastructure and integration services across both on premises and cloud environments; Maintain system stability and protect data integrity by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing middleware performance; Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal technology and security requirements. How does it get done? The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for: Installing, configuring, administer, monitor, and maintaining middleware platforms and supporting infrastructure used for application integration and data exchange; Administering and maintaining middleware platforms, application servers, and integration services that support enterprise systems; Configure and support system interfaces, APIs, and secure data transfer processes between internal and external systems. Applying system updates, patches, and security configurations in alignment with agency standards and compliance requirements; Supporting vulnerability remediation efforts and participate in security and compliance activities; Coordinating deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities across development, testing, and production environments; Maintaining comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records; Collaborating with infrastructure, database, application, security, and vendor teams to resolve incidents and enhance system reliability; Supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes related to middleware services; Providing technical guidance and operational support to internal teams and stakeholders.
