## About the Role

* Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing organisational wide digital communications, such as an intranet or social networking space, to achieve communications objectives.
 * Proven skills in developing content and upholding design and style guidelines across a range of content formats and platforms.
 * Experience and ability to gather representative user requirements based on a solid understanding of the user needs of diverse audience groups, interpreting user research to make the correct product decisions, ensuring platforms are accessible.
 * Excellent ability to manage projects to deadlines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks.
 * Ability to work with technical teams to deliver appropriate operations support for any given technology service or product.

## Description

The role is being offered as a fixed-term contract, initially for 12 months with the potential to be extended.
The Intranet Development Manager will lead the scoping, strategy, and development of Citizens Advice's primary internal communication channel for both national teams and the network of local Citizens Advice offices. The role will be responsible for creating and implementing a single, trusted source of information that ensures colleagues can access clear, engaging, and accessible content when they need it and in a format that works for them.
The postholder will drive the development of a more user-focused and connected communication experience across the service, enabling stronger two-way and peer-to-peer communication, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and supporting more targeted and effective organisational communications. They will also line manage the Senior Channels Officer and lead a project team to deliver this key organisational initiative.
This role will manage the Senior Channels Officer who will support the project as well as maintain the existing intranet and Workvivo platform.
