## About the Role

Do you have experience in Transportation infrastructure projects?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Education and Skills

 * Bachelor's degree from accredited program
 * Engineer Intern / Engineering in Training Certification, preferred
 * Experience utilizing Microstation/Openroads software, preferred

## Description

* Assists in the design of a variety of roadway project types including urban streets, rural highways, bridge replacements, sidewalks and trails, complex interchanges, roundabouts and intersection improvements
 * Collaborates with project team members, client representatives, and review agencies to help resolve a variety of complex problems
 * Assists in the analysis, preparation or modification of technical reports, drawings, plans, specifications and permits for projects
 * Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
 * Participates in project site visits with other project team members, as needed
 * Demonstrates strong attention to detail
 * Able to learn Alabama Department of Transportation systems, policies, and procedures
 * Able to learn standard operations, policies and procedures of a firm, preferably within the A/E industry
