## About the Role

Do you have a valid Professional Scrum Master I certification?, Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years with HS diploma

 * Must be US Citizen
 * Able to obtain Public Trust
 * Experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development or cloud engineering teams
 * Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and scaling approaches (SAFe, LeSS, or similar)
 * Experience working in a DoD, federal, or highly regulated environment
 * Strong servant-leader mindset with ability to coach and influence teams at all maturity levels
 * Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
 * Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent), * Understanding of SDLC

## Description

Peraton is seeking a SCRUM Master. This position will perform the following duties but not limited:

 * Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional development teams supporting cloud-native application modernization and migration efforts
 * Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
 * Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Security teams to ensure clear backlog prioritization and alignment with program objectives
 * Identify, track, and remove impediments to keep teams productive and focused
 * Coach teams in Agile best practices, continuous improvement, DevSecOps, and cloud delivery principles
 * Support transition from legacy applications to modern architectures using Azure PaaS, containerization, microservices, and event-driven design
 * Leverage metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, predictability) to guide team performance and drive continuous improvement
 * Facilitate collaboration across engineering, security, infrastructure, and cloud migration teams to ensure coordinated delivery
 * Support program-level Agile ceremonies, release planning, and dependency management
 * Communicate risks, progress, and status to leadership and stakeholders
 * Advocate for a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation

This role will be 100% remote.
