## About the Role

Do you have experience in SEO?, We are looking for a commercially driven and hands-on Head of Ecommerce to lead the performance and growth of our established online retail business, operating across five high-volume websites., * Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior ecommerce or online retail role

 * Proven experience driving growth within a high-volume retail environment
 * Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify
 * Experience managing websites, online trading, CRO, and digital merchandising
 * Strong commercial awareness and analytical decision-making skills
 * Previous experience managing or mentoring a team
 * Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day execution
 * This is a hybrid role based in Peterborough, with a minimum of 3 mandatory office days per week.

## Description

This is a key role in the business, offering real autonomy and the chance to shape the future of our online operation. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will lead an e-commerce team and work closely with the marketing, customer service, operations, and development teams to drive continued online growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience., * Lead the digital trading strategy across five high-volume websites

 * Drive revenue growth, conversion performance, customer engagement, and retention
 * Manage key online trading KPIs, including conversion rate, AOV, and website revenue
 * Oversee website performance, user experience, onsite merchandising, and promotional activity
 * Work closely with developers and third-party agencies to implement improvements and new functionality
 * Use analytics and customer behaviour data to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
 * Manage and support an e-commerce team
 * Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns and landing pages for maximum performance
 * Oversee ecommerce platforms, integrations, payment systems, and digital tools
