## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, other technical degree, or related experience
 * 5+ years professional experience in commercial or web-scale system engineering
 * 5+ years of experience in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
 * 5+ years of professional experience in Linux system administration or development
 * This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph., * Experience in scalable Agile/SCRUM/Kanban enterprise-scale software development
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
 * Experience with deployment management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
 * Experience with a modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Go
 * Understanding of network fundamentals
 * Understanding of distributed storage performance challenges and their solutions
 * Experience with secure system configuration and security principles
 * Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
