Preferred Qualifications * TxDOT Precertification in Work Category 1.9.1. * Experience supporting TxDOT, NTTA, county, or municipal transportation projects. * Experience supporting FAA airport or aviation projects. * Familiarity with: + FAA Part 77 airspace analysis + Airport Layout Plans (ALPs) * Experience using: + MicroStation + OpenRoads Designer + Civil 3D * Knowledge of: + LiDAR + Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) + 3D terrain modeling * Experience with GIS automation using Python or ModelBuilder. * Experience supporting environmental documentation workflows (NEPA) and aviation noise contour mapping. ## Description M&J is seeking a skilled and motivated GIS Specialist to support both transportation and aviation (airport) engineering projects throughout Texas. This role will collaborate closely with civil engineers, aviation planners, environmental scientists, and survey teams to deliver high-quality geospatial analysis, mapping, and data management solutions across all phases of project development.
